I am the proud mother of two teenage boys, Jordan (my Marine who is now at his PDS, Camp LeJeune) and Jesse (my high school junior). After training with Hotel
Company (platoon 2082) up until the Monday before the crucible, Jordan was diagnosed with pneumonia and ended up graduating a month later with India Company,
platoon 3090. He made a lot of friends in both platoons as well as in EHP. His MOS is 0811, artillery, and he trained at Ft. Sill, OK (where Geronimo is
buried!). He graduated from MOS school on March 21, 2008, Good Friday.
I am a certified English teacher and I am currently substitute teaching because of the job shortage and Michigan's crappy economy. I have an Akita named CJ
and I drive a minivan, ha ha!
Hey Theresa! I took down your question about Patrick on the board, so i figured i'd answer you here
Normally deployments range about 7-8 months. He deployed in August with 2nd Supply, but DB liked it so much in the sandbox he signed up for another tour,
back-to-back, so he was attached to CLB-6 when his unit went home and will be there for that tour until early fall. The only bonus (well, in my mind) is that
he gets R&R halfway through his second tour (early summer).

Stephanie, thanks so much for your reply! Wow, what a guy, he loves the sandbox?!!! He's lucky to have you supporting him...and I'm lucky to have you
give your assistance!
Parris Island was great espically when I seen my son. He is doing great except for some stomach problems. Because of food. He will be leaving on April13th.
Then it will be hard all over again. Because he doesn't know when he will get to come home again. His ptl was honer plt. His drill instructer told him and
me that it was a pleasure for him to of had Jamie in his plt. and told Jamie to keep in touch.
I remember the thrill of seeing Jordan for the first time in what felt like forever! I remember the chills I got during the Moto Run hearing the ringing of
the bells, OMG, that was incredible! I'm sorry about his belly troubles; Jordan said the food at PI has been the best he's had so far at any base
he's been to. Now he's heading from Camp LeJeune to Ft. Bragg to shoot the Army's Howitzers. He'll be there for about two weeks then back to
CLJ and then on a Navy ship to NY, where they will participate in some ceremoial stuff. It never gets easier, that's for sure. Saying goodbye is so hard,
but we're Marine Moms now and we have to be strong for them. Just enjoy him while you can. Take care and stay in touch!!!
Hey thanks for the music tip! Our son is still in school/training and hasn't got his PDS orders either.
Good news your Marine will be home!! Hope ours will be too...got his airline tickets...but he's 90% sure he gets a 96r.
well I think we made it crucibel was over at 8 this morning. Should get my call tomarrow. And then I leave for Parris Island Tuesday. OOH RAAH it is finaly
over (this chapter anyways)
Jamie is probably feeling like King of the Hill right now, they all are so dang full of themselves and the pride of such a major accomplishment they are
nearly busting at the seams! So are their mothers, ha ha! That is awesome, I'm so happy for you! So now for a couple of weeks off and a little RA and
then off to CLJ for MCT/SOI and then, who the heck knows? Enjoy PI and MAKE Jamie go to JP's Place before you hit the road for home. Jordan wanted
Hardees so we didn't go and when we came home I was reading about how the owner of JP's makes such a huge fuss over new Marines when they stop
in...I'm never going to let him live it down, ha ha! I want to hear all about it! Have a safe trip and call if you need anything!
Hi Theresa! Long time no chat....hope all is well with you and your son at home. AND of course I pray your Marine is doing good at Fort Sill. Will he be home
anytime soon for Easter? We think ours will be!!
HEY how'd you get music on your profile!?!?!? (LOVE fleetwood mac!!)
Played any Guitar Hero lately...LOL!!
Warm wishes,

Hi Glenda! All is pretty good here, other than all this snow! I'm sooo tired of winter...and shovelling snow. At least we got to turn our clocks back;
that's a sure sign of spring! Jordan will probably not be coming home for Easter. We don't yet know where his PDS will be, but we'll find out
sometime in the next week or two, hopefully Camp LeJeune.
I got my music player at www.dizzler.com, you can put all kinds of songs on there, upload them from your computer, even
connect with radio stations.
Hope all is well with you and yours and I know your Easter will be all the more enjoyable with your Marine home.

a safe trip!
Hello Theresa
I am so glad that Jordan also got to come home. I can only imagine how you felt. I know that the surprise was awesome for everyone. I cannot explain how I
felt when I walked into mom's and there he sat with a huge smile on his face. It was definitely an answer to prayers! The time seems to be going by so fast though! I hope you have a
wonderful next 6 days!!
God bless,

Hi Stacy!
You're right, time is going way too fast right now! And he's been at the recruiting station way too much, ha ha! We just have to take whatever we can
get! I'm sooo happy to have him home as I know you are to have Steve home! It was so exciting surprising everybody! I can't believe they all fell
for my silly story! I wish I would've had a camera aimed right at their faces when he walked in, ha ha! I bet you had the same expression on yours when
you walked into your mom's and saw Steve!
May the next 6 days pass slowly for you!!!
BIG 's, Theresa
